Retail Directions Limited – Consultant                                                                             Nov 92 to Apr 96

Immediately following my graduation I was fortunate to gain three and a half years of first class experience within this very, very fast moving and highly professional consultancy. This position is where my skills were grounded, it needed flexibility, focus, a very broad use of research/analytical skills, and client contact was always at Director level.

I was the Research and Data Analysis specialist within the consultancy, and together with my project teams we were effectively a Market Research Agency.  From proposal, questionnaire design, fieldwork, analysis to presentation we did it all.

Every project undertaken, or proposal written by the consultancy began with market research groundwork.

Subsequently recommendations by the consultancy were very heavily influenced by my work. It was very rewarding and there exists today retail and leisure developments in the UK, which were influenced by my research and data analysis.

I had a major contribution to many, and varied projects including: -
